Welcome to the personal website of Yogesh Goyal! I am an engineer with drive and passion for studying life-ly things. I am currently (2018-19) a Schmidt Science Fellow (w/ Rhodes Trust) in the lab of Arjun Raj at the University of Pennsylvania. I will be a Jane Coffin Childs Fellow starting summer 2019. Here’s my most recent CV.
I grew up in Chopra bazaar, a small settlement in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir in India, very close to nature. I did most of my schooling in Udhampur, at the Army Public School. I attended Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar for my undergraduate education (2008-12) where I studied Chemical Engineering. I joined Princeton University as a graduate student (2012-2017) where I was co-advised by Stanislav Shvartsman and Trudi Schüpbach. At Princeton, I was affiliated with the department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics.
I am broadly interested in questions of quantitative biology: for details, check out the Science page.
